Hurricane Ian

Unfortunately, we were directly hit during Hurricane Ian by what we believe was a tornado, and suffered severe damages. Entire structures collapsed along with parts of the barn where the horses are housed. Entire parts of the barn’s roofing is destroyed beyond repair or is completely gone.

Our home which is on the same property and has our office, suffered severe damage as well, with parts of the roof caving in, wooden boards and tree branches inside the house, and shards of glass scattered amongst our home.

We are so happy to be able to say that every animal and all horses made it through the storm alive and unharmed (even our full time stray cat!).

We are so happy and thankful to be able to say that after many long months, tireless work, donations, and support from volunteers, we are once again an active part of this community. We are so excited to be able to say we once again have a covered riding arena for lessons, birthday parties, camp, and events!

All of this would not have been possible without the incredible support we received from our community, which means more to us than we could ever communicate. To see how many people have made amazing horse memories at our barn throughout the years is beyond incredible and gave us the energy to continue the cleaning and rebuilding efforts.
