Our daily barn hours are from 8am-8pm, but we are by appointment only.

While we are open 7 days a week, we offer horseback riding lessons on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

If you don't have equestrian riding equipment, it's best to wear long pants (ex. jeans, leggings) and closed toe shoes (ex. sneakers).

Our private lesson are $60/student plus $5/lesson for certified equestrian helmet rental

We also have our Horse Interaction Day for kids that's $30/child

All lessons, camp, birthday parties, farm animal petting zoo, and services are non-refundable & cannot be rescheduled as we block the time slot, the horses, and schedule our instructors for the time and are not able to fill the space if someone cancels. Please make sure the date and time you book your appointment for is right for you.

Every sport comes with its own inherent risk and horseback riding is no different. However, here at Saddlewood, we like to put our riders' and horses' safety first and foremost. All our instructors follow strict safety guidelines to minimize potential risks: 

• All students, regardless of age are required to wear properly fitting certified equestrian riding helmets (if you do not have your own, we offer helmet rental for $5/student per lesson)
• All of our instructors have at least 10+ years of teaching experience, during which time they have continued to be educated, do research, and practice new teaching methods and safety guidelines
• While students are taught and encouraged to tack up their horse, our instructors always check to ensure it is done properly and safely
• Once in the arena, our instructors check the girth/cinch before the rider mounts, they check again once the rider is on, and will check periodically to regirth/cinch-up whenever it is necessary to ensure the saddle is tight enough and does not slide while still being safe and comfortable for our horses
